Costs and Payments
Whether you are with BUPA, MBP, HCF or one of the smaller providers you can use your Health Fund card to claim a proportion of your treatment. The actual amount will depend on the level of dental insurance you have with your provider. We always provide you with a printed treatment plan including the different options so that you can contact them and check the gap for subsequent visits. We also accept Medicare for eligible children under the Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS), Dental Hospital Vouchers and Veteran Affairs card holders; all of these are no gap (i.e. no out of pocket expenses).
We look after many people and families from all the suburbs surrounding Maroubra including Malabar, Little Bay, Coogee, South Coogee, Randwick, Kensington, Botany and others. We even have a number of people that travel interstate, which is quite a compliment.
Public Transport & Parking
We are a 2 minute walk from the hub of Maroubra Junction on Anzac parade where there is plenty of parking in the Pacific Square shopping Centre. There are also a couple of carparks in the central reservation along Anzac Parade or unlimited street parking just round the corner on Garden street or Haig street. Any bus that travels to Maroubra Junction is ideal.

Booking an Appointment

If you are in pain or have a specific problem that needs attending to, please advise the receptionist so sufficient time can be allocated for your appointment.
Your First Visit
The nature of your first appointment will depend on the reason that you are seeing Dr Jamie. Where possible he prefers to have a consultation, checkup or examination for your initial visit, that way he can discuss any options with you and provide a plan of the proposed treatment and any costs involved. If you have a specific problem, he will of course attend to this so please advice the Receptionist when you book the appointment to allow adequate time for the
- Your Health Fund card (if you have one)
- Any oral appliances such as a night splint, retainers, dentures, snoring appliance or mouthguard.
If you are eligible:
- Your medicare card and proof of Family Tax Benefit Part A or other relevant government payments for your child to be treated under the CBHS Scheme.
- Your Veteran Affairs card if you hold one.
- Your Dentist Hospital Voucher if you have been given one by the hospital.
Before your appointment:
- If you have existing records (treatment notes and X-rays) that you would like to send across, these can be sent to email@example.com.
